2023 Forecast Well the game’s definitely afoot as Mr. Shakespeare would say. After the book’s initial 4 months out in the world, a short Vancouver Indigo tour, and a 5 week New England Barnes and Noble blitz, I wanted to share with you a little insight into what 2023 holds for “ALL IN WITH LOVE.” Screenplay! My award winning memoir is now being adapted for the big screen. Extensive North American Tour will be put together including ALL Indigo/Chapter stores in the greater Vancouver area and chosen local independent bookstores between January and March. I will then be traveling to the States for much of the same only this time at various Barnes and Nobles along the way. (April - August) States (cities TBD) Washington, Oregon, California, Arizona, Texas, Louisiana, Florida, Pennsylvania, New York, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts… Toronto, Ottawa, and Calgary. Signature Keynote Address: putting the finishing touches on the accompanying talk for a series of “Evening with James Gardiner” along the way in each city. |

That the award winning “ALL IN WITH LOVE” is in fact a Christmas book? Well, not precisely but it does have Christmas as a major theme throughout the book. From the innocence of the “Cydot Drive Elf” to the weaving of the Dickens classic through much of the book, the magic of the holiday is a character unto itself within the pages. It is also the backbone to a fateful ghostly visitation on Christmas Eve that would forever change the author behind the tale. Make no mistake, Clarence was right. “You see, George, you’ve really had a wonderful life. Don’t you see what a mistake it would be to just throw it away?”

ATT: Rhode Islanders! I will be at the Oak Hill Tavern on Thursday, November 10th from 5-7:30pm and would LOVE to reconnect to my Rhode Island tribe. Pop on over, grab a beer (I will certainly have one or two), and have some fun. I will be on the stage with a stack of books and pens at my disposal.
I hope to see a lot of familiar faces and have some great laughs with old friends and supporters. This has been quite the journey back to the Little Jimmy that many of you knew. See you then! |

New England Book Tour Thank you to all those that came out to support the “ALL IN WITH LOVE” book signing events at Indigo in Vancouver. And to the countless strangers who took a chance and embarked on the journey within the book’s pages! The kickoff was a resounding success with Indigo placing future orders for instock supply. More Vancouver signings will take place after the holidays. UP NEXT: New England Tour Super excited to be going back “home” to the hallowed ground of New England to continue the dream for 5 weeks. A lot of events are lining up, here are a few with more specific details to come: October 29th: Boston Book Festival - I will be signing books between 12-2pm on Saturday at the Association of Rhode Island Authors’ tent. To all my BOSTON PEEPS - pop on down to Copley Square and say hello. November 9th: Radio Interview with WADK in Rhode Island November 29th: “An Evening with James Gardiner” to take place at the North Kingstown High School Auditorium. This will be an interactive discussion on the book, especially the Rhode Island Arena portion, and your chance to meet with me in person and get a signed copy. Barnes and Nobles Booksellers: Stay tuned for specific dates as I will be visiting a handful of locations throughout New England as well as a few independent bookstores. Intimate Keynotes | Conversation with James: I have lined up some specific small business talks and small group presentations over the coming 5 weeks AND looking for more… *************************************************************** Well the train is definitely picking up speed and thanks to your support and words of encouragement - I have the strength to keep up!. September Book Update
What an incredible and eye-opening four weeks this has been with my book, not to mention my soul, exposed to the world. While elated with the achievement of publishing a 400 page book, I am also torn between the work that remains to be done. One person, one conversation at a time, my goal is to spread the power of reconnecting inward to our youth and out to the world.
In October I will be doing book signings at five Indigo/Chapters bookstores in greater Vancouver and Vancouver Island. Stay tuned as I will be publicizing the dates and hope to see all my local tribe there.
In addition, the east coast leg of the tour will commence with an arrival back in New England on October 29th for a number of weeks with speaking engagements and book signing events. To all my Rhody peeps - I am coming home and looking forward to seeing you all!
However, until then the slow moving freight train continues. Thank you for your support and encouragement as I will continue to pull from it and trust the journey this book is taking me on. Every review, every like or share, every recommendation is priceless fuel to the dream of the kid who now resides in the man. Love to all!

August Book Update Available this Month!!! Well, this is it! After starting this whirlwind ride on June 12, 2020 and countless hours of blood, sweat, and tears - I am pleased to announce that my memoir ALL IN WITH LOVE: my journey to the hero within will be available worldwide starting on AUGUST 29th! On August 29th the book will initially be available on FriesenPress Bookstore with subsequent distribution platforms such as Amazon, Barnes and Nobles, Chapters, Indigo, ITunes, Kobo, Nook, and Google to be available in the weeks that follow. “In store” purchases of physical copies at such stores like Barnes and Noble will be available at some point in October based on printing and shipping times. The book will be available worldwide at over 50,000 booksellers in Hardcover, Paperback, and E-book. |
